Pintupi-Luritja is a dialect of the Western Desert Language, a language group that is widespread throughout parts of Western Australia, South Australia and the southern and western regions of the Northern Territory. It is spoken by people living to the west of Alice Springs, extending from Ulatjarrka (Mt Zeil) through to the Kintore Ranges.
